The Beirut Hotel is a modern,
seven-storey in the fashionable Heliopolis district of Cairo, 12
kilometres from the city centre and 25 kilometres from the Pyramids. Its
91 rooms feature rich red fabrics and have modern facilities including
cable television, full air conditioning, minibars and Internet
connections.
Dining options at the hotel include international food in the
restaurant, and local mezze dishes and light snacks at the Louvre Pub,
which also serves a full range of alcoholic drinks. Guests can work out
in the fitness centre or dance the night away at the on site disco where
belly dancers provide the entertainment, and a range of drinks and mezze
are served. Those who wish to shop for gifts and souvenirs can head for
the hotel's 'bazaar', while traditional Egyptian coffees are served in
the lobby and Oriental pastries are on offer at the bakery. The hotel
also offers use of two rooms with space for conferences of up to 80
people and wedding banquets for up to 130. Complimentary pick-up and
drop-off at Cairo International Airport is provided, or free parking is
included for those arriving independently. The hotel is located close to
a number of Cairo's historic attractions: the Egyptian Museum and the
Museum of Islamic Art are both 12 kilometres away, while the Pyramids of
Giza and the Sphinx are 25 kilometres from the hotel. Cairo
International Airport is three kilometres away, a driving time of
approximately 10 minutes.
